New Website - New Blog

So yeah, welcome to the chaos! This is officially Blog Post #1 of what I hope becomes a weekly-ish ramble about fishing, reports, gear, maybe some questionable fish tales, and whatever else comes to mind while I’m waiting for a bite. Strong winds and storms kept the Tiara at the dock and me running a 5k, thanks to the Run Ludington run club!

Last year by this time, we had over 100 salmon on the books. This year? Nada. Zip. Zero. Ludington fish count is 2 brown trout and 2 lake trout! I'm starting to think the fish and weather are both holding a grudge after the great 2024 season. I also don’t remember where we fished or what we used because apparently my memory resets every season. Hence—ta-da!—this blog.

Hopefully, this space becomes a helpful logbook for me (and you) so we’re not reinventing the wheel every year. If nothing else, you’ll get to watch a grown person slowly unravel while chasing slippery ghosts with fins.
