We launched at Del Ray and set lines just south of the A bridge around 7:15am. The water was clear as far as we could see into Ontario so we drifted the middle of the river on the US side of the river. We used 1 once jigs with Pimp Daddy, black/black and bubble gum colors and had our 12 fish in a few drifts, around 2 hours total. We fished for fun for a bit longer and picked up a few more but the bite slowed down for us couples with a strong south wind that made it about impossible to feel the bottom. Scotty, who’s always good for some non-target fish, picked up a sucker and a small mouth before pulling lines and driving back to the launch at 12 MPH into, what felt like, 3 footers.
